Laura Pederson started to trade stocks and learning about Forex in-between classes while still at school. At the age of 17, after one semester of college, Laura started working at Wall Street as a clerk. She then moved into an indexed option trader’s position when one trader couldn't make it into the office. Her calculations were accurate and she moved into trading in the pit.
In two years Laura built her clients’ portfolios as well as her own, by which time she had become a Forex millionaire and a partner in Spear, Leeds & Kellogg Investment Company. This is one smart lady because she retired before the age of thirty, and wrote her first book ‘Play Money,’ which details her experiences on the trading floor at the exchange.
While the rest of her peers were still determining which careers to follow, or had probably just graduated from college, Laura was about to retire on her millions.
